Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31: First-Half Net Income Up to €54.7 Million
The Toulouse regional bank has published consolidated net income of €54.7 million for the first half of 2026, compared to €41.8 million a year earlier. This growth is driven by an increase in net banking income and a decline in cost of risk, in an interest rate environment deemed favorable by the institution.
Beyond the result alone, the publication illustrates the impact of the improvement in the net interest margin on the profitability of a retail bank whose activity remains concentrated in Haute-Garonne.
Consolidated Net Banking Income Up 14%
Consolidated net banking income stood at €167.6 million in the first half of 2026, compared to €146.4 million a year earlier, a rise of 14%. According to the institution, customer net banking income increased by €12 million and own funds net banking income by €8.5 million, the latter driven mainly by an increase in dividends from SAS Rue de la Boétie.
On a social basis, net banking income came to 172 million euros, up 12.9%, with a net interest margin growing by more than 34%. Commissions declined slightly by 0.6% year-on-year, penalized by a base effect linked to the recognition of exceptional insurance products in the first half of 2025.
