Cybersecurity: Atos and Fortinet Move to Unified Global Partnership
On October 14, 2026, Atos announced that its collaboration with Fortinet is abandoning a country-by-country organization in favor of a global engagement model. The agreement covers the resale of solutions and managed cybersecurity services in hybrid and multicloud environments.
A Unified Framework for Resale and Managed Security Services
Atos indicated it is expanding an already longstanding partnership with Fortinet. Previously structured on a country-by-country basis, it now relies on a global engagement model. The agreement is intended to enable client organizations to strengthen the security of their hybrid and multicloud environments through a unified framework, which includes the resale of solutions and managed cybersecurity services.
The agreement also provides for global harmonization of joint business development, customer relationships, service delivery and commercial terms. Atos justifies this evolution by the challenges faced by its customers: rising cyber threats and ransomware attacks, more complex digital environments, reinforced regulatory requirements and persistent cybersecurity skills shortages.
Fortinet Technologies Integrated into Atos Security Centers
The partnership combines Fortinet's security technologies with Atos's consulting, integration and managed security services activities, as well as its network of Security Operations Centers (SOCs). According to the press release, the objective is to improve protection and visibility across cloud and on-premises environments, simplify security operations and accelerate threat detection and response.
This framework complements Atos's existing offerings: network security, SOC services, Zero Trust, cloud security, SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) architecture and cyber resilience. Günter Koinegg, Atos's global head of cybersecurity services, explained that this expansion is part of the group's strategy of leveraging technology ecosystems to deliver integrated solutions.
On Fortinet's side, Thomas Desrues, vice president of indirect sales internationally, highlighted the complementarity between Atos's systems integration and managed security expertise, and Fortinet's focus areas: secure networks, Unified SASE and artificial intelligence-driven security operations.
A Cyber Business with 6,500 Experts and 17 Security Centers
According to data published by the group, Atos Group's cybersecurity operations mobilize more than 6,500 experts and rely on 205 patents. Under the Atos brand, cybersecurity services are supported by a global network of 17 SOCs, which process more than 31 billion security events daily for more than 2,000 clients.
Cybersecurity products are marketed under the Eviden brand, centered on data encryption, identity and access management, and digital identity. Listed on Euronext Paris, Atos Group claims approximately 54,000 employees, annual revenue of approximately €7.2 billion and a presence in 54 countries.
