Cybersecurity: Atos selected by ISG in three segments of the French market
The research firm ISG has selected Atos in three segments of its 2026 edition dedicated to the French cybersecurity market: next-generation SOC/MDR services, strategic security services and technical security services.
The IT services group announced this ranking on October 6, 2026.
ISG highlights security operations centers operated by Atos
The ISG Provider Lens report starts from an observation about demand. According to the firm, organizations face increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks in complex cloud and hybrid environments, compounded by growing regulatory requirements. In this context, ISG believes that standalone security tools are no longer sufficient and that organizations must deploy a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
On the segment of SOC/MDR services (security operations centers, managed detection and response), ISG underscores the maturity of Atos's offering with large enterprises, public sector organizations and critical infrastructure operators. The firm also notes its status as a sovereign European provider with headquarters in France, the size of its network of security operations centers and its ability to combine managed incident response with industrial environments (OT).
"Atos stands out for proven SOC/MDR services, equipped with extensive detection, response, remediation and recovery capabilities, including incident response services tailored to large enterprises and public sector organizations," said Benoît Scheuber, principal consultant and security analyst at ISG.
Consulting and technical expertise also recognized by the firm
On strategic security services, ISG recognizes the breadth of Atos's consulting portfolio, which according to the firm makes it possible to integrate risks, security policies, compliance and transformation within the same framework. Benoît Scheuber cites an offering combining governance, compliance, resilience and identity management, deemed particularly suited to large organizations operating in highly regulated environments.
For technical security services, the report highlights Atos's expertise in identity and access management, as well as its investments in this area and in Zero Trust architecture. Farah Rigal, head of France's cybersecurity services at Atos, clarified that these services are operated under ANSSI qualifications when necessary.
According to data disclosed by Atos, its cybersecurity business relies on more than 6,500 experts, 205 patents and 17 security operations centers processing more than 31 billion events per day for more than 2,000 clients. Atos claims an annual revenue of approximately 7.2 billion euros and approximately 54,000 employees.
