Danone Stock: Among the Strongest Gains in the CAC 40, the Share Advances 1.5%
The dairy products, water, and infant nutrition group stands out as an exception in a Paris market slightly oriented downwards. This rebound occurs after several weeks of decline, as the share returns to contact with a closely monitored technical benchmark.
A Rebound That Brings the Share Back to Contact With Its 20-Day Moving Average
The share gains 1.57% to €59.70, while the CAC 40 falls 0.27% and the SBF 120 falls 0.37%. This advance places it among the strongest gains in the index, behind TotalEnergies and Capgemini. The stock thus returns to contact with the MA20 (€59.98), an offset of 0.47%, but remains below the MA50 (€63.75) and the MA200 (€67.87).
The RSI at 36 reflects a still fragile share, which has lost 6.1% over one month and 19.32% over three months, even though the decline over seven days has turned into a gain of 1.7%. The support at €57.58 remains the current lower benchmark, while resistance at €65.72 stands significantly higher. Danone is also trading in a market context marked by a 10-year OAT at 4.90% (as of October 8), representing a spread of 1.40 points with the Bund.

Upon publication of the first half of 2026, on July 29, Danone had confirmed its objectives for the year, with comparable growth expected between 3% and 5%. Free cash flow fell 27.3% to €852 million, however, and net debt reached €9.0 billion compared to €8.4 billion at the end of 2025. The Water segment margin, meanwhile, progressed by 196 basis points to 13.3%.
The group also completed on September 21 a bond issuance in three tranches of €1.5 billion, intended to extend the maturity of its debt. The completion of the acquisitions of MADE Group and Saputo Dairy Australia is expected in the second half. On the market side, the level of €57.58 remains the threshold to monitor in case of a return of selling pressure.
