Danone: stock falls 1.5% and signs one of the heaviest declines in the CAC 40
The share of the dairy products, water and infant nutrition group retreats during the session, in a CAC 40 also oriented downwards. Two brokerage firms revised their price targets downwards today, while the technical configuration remains highly degraded.
A price of €58.20 approaching its support level after a 20.7% decline in three months
Danone shares lose 1.56% to €58.20, compared to the previous close of €59.12, while the CAC 40 falls 1.07% at the same time. The share ranks among the index's strongest declines. It is approaching its support level at €57.58, approximately 1% from the current price.
The RSI at 32 is close to the oversold zone, after a rebound last Friday that did not reverse the trend: the share still loses 8.7% over one month and 20.7% over three months. The price is below the MA20 (gap of 4.26%), the MA50 (9.77%) and the MA200 (14.61%), so that none of these moving averages is currently providing support.
Jefferies and Deutsche Bank lower their Danone price target by €2
