Dassault Aviation and Harmattan AI have demonstrated the in-flight coupling of a Rafale F4 with a drone carrying NAMIB, a new electronic warfare payload capable of detecting and locating enemy radars. This flight validates the strategic partnership trajectory embarked upon by the two companies to integrate advanced autonomous capabilities into future combat systems.
A Demonstrated Collaborative Commitment in Real Flight
During this demonstration flight, NAMIB located a radar with high precision at several tens of kilometers away while operating discreetly. This location data was transmitted to the Rafale, which then simulated a firing pass on the detected target. This demonstration concretely illustrates the Rafale F4's ability to communicate with a variety of actors (drones, ground forces) and to utilize new functionalities provided by lightweight and autonomous systems.
