DBT Raises €1.5M in Convertible Bonds for its Milestone Charging Stations and R3 Hubs
French electric mobility specialist DBT conducted the draw of three tranches of convertible bonds into shares on July 7, totaling €1.5M. These funds are intended to support the expansion of its Milestone rapid charging stations and the territorial network of its R3 hubs.
A Draw in Three Tranches as Part of a Financing Agreement
DBT announced the draw of tranches 10, 11, and 12 of its convertible bond financing program (OCEANE). The three tranches, respectively €250k, €500k, and €750k, bring the total amount raised to €1.5M. These securities, with a nominal value of €5,000 each and interest-free, will have a maturity of 24 months from their issuance. This draw is part of the financing contract established in June 2025 with WTO29, for a maximum nominal amount of €5M. The group specified that the funds raised will support the growth in sales of its Milestone rapid charging stations and accelerate the deployment of its R3 hubs across territories.
A Context of Rebound in the European Electric Mobility Market
DBT justifies this draw by the context of the European electric mobility market, which is 'in full rebound due to recent geopolitical events'. The group operates two complementary activities: the sale of charging stations and associated services, as well as the operation of rapid charging networks. It highlights that the market benefits from governmental initiatives such as the French goal of having 400,000 charging stations installed by 2030.
