Ease2pay: Revenue up 45% in H1, net result still negative
Ease2pay published its first-half 2026 accounts on August 24, 2026, marked by a 45% increase in revenue and EBITDA growth.
At the same time, net result remains negative, due to a non-cash charge related to goodwill amortization, with an additional portion to be recognized by the end of October 2026.
Revenue at €2.5m and EBITDA raised to €0.8m
In the first half of 2026, Ease2pay's revenue increased by 45% to reach €2.5m, compared with €1.7m a year earlier. Excluding the Miele appWash business, the platform recorded an increase of 46%, rising from €0.9m to €1.3m.
Net revenue (revenues less cost of sales) stood at €1.7m, up 47% from €1.2m in the first half of 2025, in line with revenue growth. EBITDA reached a positive €0.8m, compared with €0.4m a year earlier.
A negative net result driven by goodwill amortization
The result for the first half of 2026 was negative €0.6m, compared with negative €0.2m in the first half of 2025. According to the company, this after-tax result primarily reflects a €0.7m charge for goodwill amortization, a cost item with no impact on cash flow.
Ease2pay indicates that its collaboration with Miele appWash will end at the end of October 2026, at which time the remaining goodwill of €0.5m will be amortized. The increase in EBITDA over the period thus coexists with a net result that remains in negative territory, the gap being explained by these non-cash charges.
Growth in transactions and use of cash to accelerate
The number of transactions, excluding Miele appWash, increased by 71% in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025. Ease2pay anticipates a continued EBITDA growth.
For the coming years, the company intends to use its liquidity to accelerate its growth, both organically and through acquisitions. Management and the supervisory board respectively finalized and approved the 2026 interim accounts, whose interim financial information covers the period ended June 30, 2026.
