Edenred Share: Nearly 3% Gain, Leading the SBF 120 Index
The specialist in employee benefits and dedicated payment solutions stands out in a Paris market barely rising. The share is moving away from its moving averages and extends a rebound that has been underway for several months.
A Share Gaining Ground and Clearly Diverging from Its Long-Term Trend
The Edenred share gained 2.97% to €29.14 during the session, while the CAC 40 advanced 0.12% and the SBF 120 by 0.14%. Over one week, the share rose 6.94%, allowing it to surpass its 20-day moving average (€27.94, a gap of 4.29%) and its 50-day moving average (€28.61), following a decline of approximately 7% over one month observed on October 8. This gap widens further as the 200-day moving average, at €22.56, is now 29% below the price, at the end of a quarter up 23.63%.
The movement brings the price toward the resistance level of €30.45, while the support of €26.84 remains the floor tested in early October. The RSI at 52 remains neutral: today's rally does not place the share in overbought territory. Market conditions are calm, with a VIX at 15.29, while the 10-year OAT yield stands at 4.86% according to the Banque de France reading of October 12.
An Upward Revision of EBITDA Forecasts and a Share Buyback Program in the Background
Upon the publication of H1 2026 results on July 23, 2026, the group indicated an upward revision of its EBITDA forecasts for 2026, with guidance at €1,250 million. Among the risks cited on this occasion were regulatory changes on restaurant vouchers in Italy and Brazil as well as a slowdown in activity in the United Arab Emirates. On the opportunities side, management highlighted double-digit growth in Mobility and the acquisition of The Mobility House Solutions in Germany.
The group also announced on May 29, 2026 a share buyback program of €50 million, executed at approximately 100% as of October 1, 2026. Net short positions declared reach 2.11% of capital according to the declarations reviewed, or 1.02 percentage points more in one month: selling pressure that is increasing, but remains contained in absolute terms.
