Edenred share up 34.5% over one year, gains 2% this Friday
In a rising Paris market this Friday, Edenred rebounded sharply after a weaker start to the month. The specialist in employee benefits and dedicated payment solutions is gaining ground, while remaining well positioned above its long-term trend.
A rebound that recaptures the 20-day moving average but leaves the 50-day MA above
The Edenred share gained 2.24% to €28.28 during the session, while the CAC 40 advanced 0.84%. Over the week, gains reached 5.37%, a movement that overshadows the 1.15% decline for the month. The price stands 1.18% above its 20-day MA (€27.95), but remains 1.19% below its 50-day MA (€28.62), a threshold the stock has yet to reclaim.
The RSI at 46 remains neutral, indicating that today's gain has not pushed the stock into overbought territory. The support level at €26.84, defended in early October, remains the closest reference point on the downside, while resistance at €30.53 caps the upside.
A quarterly gain of 22% fueled by first half 2026 results
Over three months, the share has accumulated 22.48% in gains and peaks more than 25% above its 200-day MA (€22.46). When first half 2026 results were published on July 23, the group raised its 2026 EBITDA guidance, citing double-digit growth in Mobility and strong single-digit growth in employee benefits. Among the risks mentioned at that time were regulatory changes on restaurant vouchers in Italy and Brazil. The €50 million share buyback program announced on May 29 is approximately 100% executed as of October 1.
