Eiffage Energy Systems Secures Contract for Four Solar Plants in Morocco
Eiffage Energy Systems has won a contract from MASEN (Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy) to build four photovoltaic plants in Morocco. The project, with a total capacity of 225 MWc, is part of the NOOR Atlas program aimed at enhancing the energy independence of the Moroccan kingdom.
Four Solar Plants for 225 MWc in Northeast Morocco
Eiffage Energy Systems is responsible for the design, supply, construction, installation, commissioning, and operation-maintenance for seven years of four solar plants in northeast Morocco. These facilities are named NOOR Ain Beni Mathar (121 MWc), NOOR Enjil (42 MWc), NOOR Boundnib (33 MWc), and NOOR Bouanane (29 MWc).
The NOOR Atlas program aims to reduce Morocco's energy dependence and enhance its electric production capacity by capitalizing on the country's solar potential. The project also contributes to the development of the national solar industry.
