Entech signs first contract in Belgium and ends joint venture with Eiffage
This contract marks a new cooperation formula between Entech and Eiffage Énergie Systèmes: a temporary grouping of companies, which the two partners have chosen to prioritize going forward. The joint venture created in 2024 will end once the projects currently underway are delivered.
Entech, a company based in Quimper specializing in the storage and management of renewable energies, announced on October 27, 2026 the signing of a contract for the construction of a storage unit with a power of 170 MW and a capacity of 340 MWh. According to the press release, this is a first contract in Belgium.
The project is being carried out as a temporary grouping of companies with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. On October 15, 2026, Entech had also announced that it had been selected by a French electricity producer for a battery plant worth €40 million connected to the high-voltage network.
