This restart comes after four months of Care & Maintenance. It is being conducted progressively by PT WBN, with the support of its subcontractors. The group states that safety remains the absolute priority throughout the restart process.

The pace of ramp-up will depend on PT WBN's ability to remobilize its subcontractors and equipment, revise its annual mining plan, and finalize necessary administrative procedures.
At this stage, PT WBN is unable to reliably assess its production and sales volumes for the remainder of 2026, nor the ore grades corresponding to these volumes. Consequently, Eramet will provide an update to its 2026 guidance for external sales of nickel ore.
The group emphasizes its continued dialogue with Indonesian authorities and remains committed to developing its operations in Indonesia, as well as its long-term contribution to the economy of North Maluku.
