Europlasma: its subsidiary Les Forges de Tarbes requests judicial reorganization
The request has been filed with the Commercial Court of Tarbes, whose decision is expected in the coming days.
A request formulated following consultation with the social and economic committee
Europlasma announced that its subsidiary Les Forges de Tarbes is seeking the opening of a judicial reorganization procedure. The initiative was undertaken after information and consultation of the social and economic committee, which met on October 22, 2026 in an extraordinary session.
At this stage, this is a request: the procedure is only opened subject to a favorable decision by the court.
The group, listed on Euronext Growth, is organized into three divisions: industry (manufacturing of forged parts, including hollow bodies and train wheels, and anodized aluminum sheets for capacitors), pollution remediation and decarbonization. Europlasma indicates its presence in strategic industrial sectors such as defense.
Preservation of business activity and liquidation of another subsidiary
According to the press release, this request "aims to preserve the business activity of the company and to create the necessary conditions for its reorganization".
It comes shortly after another judicial decision concerning the group. On October 15, 2026, the commercial court of Lorient placed the subsidiary FDB Industries in judicial liquidation, while Europlasma had requested for this company the opening of a judicial reorganization.
Dilutive financing recalled in the press release
Europlasma indicated that additional communication will be issued following the decision of the Commercial Court of Tarbes.
In the same press release, the company recalls having implemented in April 2026 financing in the form of warrants for the issuance of convertible bonds into new shares, with share purchase warrants attached if applicable, from Environmental Performance Financing, a company in the Alpha Blue Ocean group. According to Europlasma, shares resulting from these conversions are generally sold on the market at very short notice, which can create significant downward pressure on the share price and significant dilution.
The company specifies that this dilutive financing operation is not the first one it has implemented.
