The OxiaCore Project has integrated Facephi's AI-based biometric technology into its fraud prevention framework, enabling player and agent verification while ensuring compliance with gaming regulations in Peru. In less than a year, the company has reduced commission payment fraud by 80%, particularly in relation to welcome bonus abuse. The platform has also expanded to over 10,000 verified agents and has been deployed across several operators.
Planned Expansion in Ecuador and Colombia with Over One Million Transactions
The OxiaCore Project plans to process over one million authentications by the end of 2026, as it expands into Ecuador and Colombia. Daniel García, Technical Director of The OxiaCore Project, stated that the fraud prevention system powered by Facephi has become a key differentiator for its platform, enabling confident scaling by eliminating the impact of multi-account fraud.
