Fugro secures EIB financing for its uncrewed surface vessels
The Dutch geospatial data specialist has backed this new financing line to the development of its uncrewed surface vessels (USV), presented as a lever for its transformation program. The announcement was made via press release on October 14, 2026.
A dedicated line for uncrewed vessels and remote operations
According to the press release, the facility granted by the European Investment Bank is intended to support "the ongoing development and deployment" of the group's uncrewed surface vessel technology.
It is to accompany the progressive, phased expansion of Fugro's remote operations capabilities. This financing enables the company to advance its transformation program.
