Genfit Organizes Virtual Event on Its Non-Invasive MASH Diagnostic
The biopharmaceutical company Genfit will organize a virtual event bringing together a key opinion leader to present its non-invasive diagnostic platform for MASH and the associated development strategy.
A Virtual Event Focused on Non-Invasive MASH Diagnosis
Genfit announced on September 3, 2026 the holding of a virtual event bringing together a key opinion leader (KOL), scheduled for September 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time).
The event will address the evolution of the diagnostic testing landscape for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) and will feature remarks from Dr. Vlad Ratziu (Sorbonne Université, Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Institute for Cardiometabolism and Nutrition, Paris).
He will address the unmet medical need in MASH diagnosis and the clinical utility of Genfit's non-invasive testing technologies, NIS4 and its next-generation NIS2+, in a context of rapidly expanding therapeutic options.
Recognized Technology and Commercial Opportunities
According to Genfit, its technology is recognized by international consortiums of experts as a leading non-invasive solution capable of capturing both disease activity and fibrotic burden, and is included in European and American clinical recommendations.
The company states that Labcorp's NASHnext test, based on NIS4, has become eligible for reimbursement under the Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule for patients meeting coverage criteria, effective August 10, 2026.
Management will then present its perspectives on the commercial opportunity, revenue potential, and development strategy aimed at expanding patient access. Genfit also indicates it is exploring the development of an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical device-labeled version of its technology, either alone or in collaboration with a specialized partner.
