Haffner Energy stock surges over 18% following data center announcements
Haffner Energy delivers two announcements within two days and the market reacts strongly. The biomass-based solutions designer, based in Vitry-le-François, posts one of the session's most marked gains in a globally supportive stock market environment.
An 18% rebound fueled by two distinct developments in less than 48 hours
The Haffner Energy stock gains 18.22% during the session, to €0.558, following two press releases published within 48 hours. The first, dated August 27, announces the completion of the first tranche of the investment program concluded with Mundi Énergies and its partners: €2M subscribed and treasury strengthened by €4.4M, via a structured arrangement with remaining tranches remaining under the company's control. The second press release, published this Friday August 28, details the launch of a biomass-based energy offering intended for data centers, a segment with high electricity demand.
The company specifies that the offering is already available and has been subject to initial commercial proposals. These two concomitant elements—balance sheet strengthening on one side, commercial expansion on the other—explain the magnitude of the session's movement, in a globally favorable market: the CAC 40 gains nearly 1% during the session, the SBF 120 advances by the same proportion.
A price at its 20-day moving average, against the backdrop of an exceptional quarterly rally
Today's increase brings the stock exactly to its 20-day moving average (€0.56, variance of -0.36%), a threshold to monitor for confirming or not the recovery following a difficult week (-3.79% over seven days). The RSI at 48 remains in neutral territory, signaling that the configuration is not yet overbought despite the violence of today's rebound. The gap to long-term averages reflects the exceptional dynamics of recent months: the stock trades 55% above its 50-day MA at €0.36 and nearly 249% above its 200-day MA at €0.16, a reflection of gains of over 107% accumulated over three months.
This trajectory is based on a succession of events since summer: the validation of syngas production from the H6 technology in early August, followed by the capital partnership with Mundi Énergies. Upon publication of its 2025/2026 results (June 25, 2026), the company was targeting revenue in excess of €300M by 2026-2027, supported by the deployment of the CORE100 program. Resistance at €0.78 constitutes the next chart level to monitor.
