Heineken Appoints Rafael Oliveira as CEO Starting October 2026
Heineken announced on Tuesday the appointment of Rafael Oliveira as the new CEO and Chairman of the Board, succeeding the current leadership. Oliveira, presently the CEO of JDE Peet's since November 2024, will assume his new role on October 1, 2026, pending shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting scheduled for August 5, 2026.
Rafael Oliveira brings over twenty years of experience in the consumer goods sector and managing complex, global-scale corporations. Before joining JDE Peet's in 2024, he spent ten years at Kraft Heinz (2014-2024), where he served as Executive Vice President and President of International Markets from 2019 to 2024, overseeing a portfolio exceeding $7 billion across Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. His career also includes a decade at Goldman Sachs (2004-2014), where he held the position of Executive Director for emerging markets in Asia.
