Icade: Karine Anne Huberfeld Appointed as Secretary General and Joins the Executive Committee
Karine Anne Huberfeld joins the Executive Committee of Icade starting Monday, June 29, as Secretary General in charge of governance, legal affairs, and group insurance. She succeeds Jérôme Lucchini in this position.
A Career Spanning Law Firms and Public Sector
Karine Anne Huberfeld began her career in 1998 at Archibald Andersen Legal, where she worked in business litigation, arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, and competition law. In 2000, she joined Clifford Chance as a senior lawyer, handling multi-jurisdictional cases for major groups in real estate, energy, insurance, and manufacturing until 2006.
In 2008, she made a significant career shift by joining the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) as head of mission in the Investigations Directorate, a role she held until 2013. During this time, she developed a deep expertise in governance, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Banking Responsibilities and Organizational Transformation
In 2014, Karine Anne Huberfeld joined ODDO BHF bank as Group Legal Head and Group Data Protection Officer, reporting directly to the Executive Management. She managed a broad scope that included cross-border M&A activities, strategic litigation, governance, and compliance.
In 2021, she moved to GreenYellow as Secretary General and member of the Executive Committee, where she demonstrated an ability to structure and professionalize a complex legal organization amidst rapid growth and international transformation.
