KPN appoints Wouter Stammeijer Chief Financial Officer and streamlines executive leadership

Stammeijer Chief Financial Officer, Cibic Chief Technology Officer

KPN has indicated that Wouter Stammeijer will be appointed Chief Financial Officer as of November 1st. A member of the board of management as Chief Operations Officer since 2023, he joined the group in 2010 after working in Treasury and M&A activities at ING, where he notably held the positions of Head of Investor Relations and subsequently Chief Strategy Officer.

Vladimir Cibic will succeed him and be appointed Chief Technology Officer as of November 1st. Present at KPN since 2000, he has held various positions covering information technology, digitalization and customer experience, and was responsible for the group's cybersecurity as Chief Information Security Officer.

Appointments and renewals submitted to the 2027 General Meeting

Vladimir Cibic will be proposed for appointment to the board of management at the April 2027 shareholders' general meeting. On that occasion, the supervisory board also intends to reappoint Wouter Stammeijer and Chantal Vergouw, Director of the Enterprise market, for a new four-year term.

The supervisory board will also propose the appointment of Piero Overmars as a new member at the 2027 general meeting. He currently sits on the supervisory boards of Dura Vermeer and Adyen. The board will also propose the reappointment of Herman Dijkhuizen, Frank Heemskerk and Ben Noteboom. After twelve years on the supervisory board, Jolande Sap is not eligible for renewal, and Marga de Jager has indicated that she will not stand at the end of her first term.

KPN is also simplifying its leadership structure and will maintain a board of management with five members. As of October 1st, the Chief Human Resources Officer will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
