La Chausseria: Revenue Down 11.68% in Third Quarter, Further Decline Expected in Fourth Quarter
La Chausseria published on October 7, 2026 revenue of 301 k€ for the third quarter, compared to 341 k€ one year earlier. Over the first nine months of the fiscal year, the decline reached 17.61% compared to the same period in 2025.
The quarter interrupts the moderation in decline observed in spring. After a 32% decline in the first quarter and then 8% in the second, the gap widened again to 11.68% over the summer period. The company also indicated it expects a decline of approximately 15% in the fourth quarter, representing a rate of decline higher than that of the third quarter.
Third Quarter at 301 k€, Down 11.68%
The Parisian women's footwear distributor, whose headquarters are located on rue de Passy, achieved 292 k€ in retail sales in the third quarter of 2026, compared to 328 k€ one year earlier. Sales made on the internet site amounted to 9 k€, compared to 13 k€ in the third quarter of 2025.
In total, the revenue excluding taxes for the quarter amounted to 301 k€, compared to 341 k€, representing a decline of 11.68%. Trading activity remained nil, as in the previous fiscal year.
Retail store sales represent the bulk of activity: the internet channel accounts for a few thousand euros per quarter. In the first two quarters, it had reached 14 k€ (compared to 18 k€) and then 8 k€ (stable year-over-year).
After a Second Quarter in Sharp Moderation, the Gap Widened Again
A quarter-by-quarter analysis reveals an irregular trajectory. The first quarter of 2026 resulted in revenue of 274 k€, compared to 402 k€ one year earlier, representing a 32% decline. The months of January and February had recorded declines of 34% and 40% respectively, before a limited 12% decline in March.
The second quarter had marked a clear moderation, with revenue of 337 k€ compared to 364 k€ (down 8%). Two of three months had then been in growth: April (+7%) and June (+5%), May showing a 19% decline. First-half revenue had amounted to 611,816 €, down approximately 20.6%.
The third quarter, down 11.68%, thus sits between these two points. The decline is less pronounced than at the beginning of the year, but more marked than in the second quarter. In total, the nine-month decline (17.61%) remains higher than that of the third quarter alone, due to the effect of the first quarter.
Approximately 15% Decline Expected for Fourth Quarter
For the end of the fiscal year, the company indicated it expects a decline in revenue of approximately 15% in the fourth quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. This forecast places the last period of the year beyond the rate of decline recorded in the third quarter.
As in its previous publications, La Chausseria clarified that no transaction or other event had occurred during the quarter. The change in sales therefore does not result from a modification in scope.
At the end of the first nine months, the company's revenue is down 17.61% year-over-year, and management anticipates a decline of approximately 15% in the final quarter of the fiscal year.
