Lagardère Publicité News: Franck Godin Appointed President, Succeeds Marie Renoir-Couteau
Franck Godin has been appointed as the president of Lagardère Publicité News, succeeding Marie Renoir-Couteau who moves to Prisma Media. The appointment, effective from July 1st, comes after more than twenty years of service by the executive within the group's advertising division.
A Promotion from Within
Constance Benqué, president of Lagardère News, has appointed Franck Godin as the president of Lagardère Publicité News, a role he previously held as the commercial director. A graduate of ISC Paris, Franck Godin began his career at Havas Media before joining Motor Presse France, and then the advertising division of Lagardère around 2005. His career at the group spans over twenty years, during which he has held several strategic positions. In June 2023, he was named deputy general manager of Lagardère Publicité News. By 2025, he became the commercial director, taking charge of all commercial activities of the division and contributing to the transformation of the commercialization of the Europe 2 and RFM Regions networks.
Integration into the Executive Committee and Continuity
Franck Godin will report directly to Constance Benqué and will join the executive committee of Lagardère News/Lagardère Radio, thereby strengthening his role in the governance of the division. His appointment coincides with the departure of Marie Renoir-Couteau, who leaves Lagardère Publicité News after 26 years of collaboration to join Prisma Media. This change occurs in a context of reorganization of the group's radio and news division, notably with the recent appointment of Donat Vidal Revel as the general manager of radios.
