Laggard of the SBF 120: Nanobiotix share falls by nearly 2%, RSI at 25
The oncological nanomedicine biotech extends a decline that has been underway for several weeks and is approaching a closely-monitored technical threshold. The movement is occurring within a slightly positive SBF 120, contrary to the broader index trend.
A share below all its moving averages, near its support level
Nanobiotix declines 1.81% to €20.56, at the bottom of the SBF 120 (ranked 112 out of 120) while the index advances 0.11%. The price is near the support level at €20.52, a difference of less than 0.2%, following a drop of 34.31% over one month. The share remains significantly below its 20-day moving average (€26.53, a gap of -22.50%), and the RSI at 25 reflects an oversold configuration.
Over the week, the decline reaches 8.13%, and the red lantern of the index had already been held by the stock on October 7, when the share fell below the €22.38 support level. The two comparable companies in the healthcare sector are following a different trajectory: Sanofi gains 1.06% this Tuesday and Eurofins Scientific 0.49%, the latter showing a gain of 10.38% over one month. Nanobiotix therefore remains isolated from this movement, after sessions marked by successive declines.
Cash position of €110.9 million announced at end of September, short positions increasing
During the publication of its operational update for the first half of 2026, on September 24, the company reported a cash position of €110.9 million, compared to €52.8 million at the end of December 2025, following a capital increase of approximately €86 million completed in May. According to the statement, these liquidity resources enable the financing of operations until 2029. The share has not regained momentum since, and it is trading far from its 200-day moving average (€28.76), which is 28.51% above the current price. On the short-seller side, according to filed declarations, two funds combined hold 1.50% of the capital, compared to 0.50% thirty days earlier.
This one-point increase remains modest in absolute terms but occurred rapidly. The stock is listed in Paris (ordinary share, eligible for PEA) and on Nasdaq in the form of ADSs, the same security on two exchanges. The coming sessions will tell whether the €20.52 support level holds.
