Lhyfe to Supply Up to 100 Tonnes of Green Hydrogen per Year to H2apex in Germany
Lhyfe and H2APEX announced on September 16, 2026 the expansion of their partnership in the German hydrogen market. The agreement covers the supply of RFNBO-certified renewable hydrogen intended for mobility and industrial applications.
A Supply Agreement Spanning Two Years
H2APEX Group SCA (ISIN: LU0472835155) and Lhyfe (Euronext Growth: ALHYF) have announced the strengthening of their partnership to meet the demand for renewable hydrogen in Germany.
Under this expanded agreement, Lhyfe will supply up to 100 tonnes of RFNBO-certified renewable hydrogen to H2APEX per year over the next two years. The agreement continues the existing cooperation between the two companies.
Supply Intended for Mobility and Industry
The volumes supplied aim to strengthen the availability of renewable hydrogen for mobility and industrial applications throughout Germany.
According to Peter Rößner, Chief Executive Officer of H2APEX, the demand for green hydrogen is currently growing faster than the commissioning of new production capacity on the market. The use of available volumes of certified green hydrogen under agreements of this type is one of the means of securing supply for customers.
Two Major Players in the Hydrogen Sector
H2APEX, whose operational core was established in 2000 in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, develops, builds, sells or operates green hydrogen production facilities representing up to 2 GW of electrolysis capacity.
Lhyfe, present in 11 European countries and employing 188 staff as of December 31, 2025, became in September 2025 Europe's largest producer of bulk RFNBO hydrogen by water electrolysis. The company transferred its listing to Euronext Growth Paris on September 8, 2026.
