LISI share rebounds 3% and moves away from its 62.30€ support
The aerospace and automotive equipment supplier rebounds sharply at close in a well-oriented Paris market. The stock resumes its upward trajectory after several consolidation sessions, digesting its half-yearly publication.
The stock gains 3% and approaches its short-term moving averages
Lisi share gains 3.05% to 64.20€ at close, compared to 62.30€ the previous day. Today's rebound allows the stock to move away from its 62.30€ support and retrace halfway towards its short-term moving averages, with the MA20 at 66.44€ and the MA50 at 66.19€, both still situated approximately 3% above the current price. The RSI at 39 reflects a neutral to slightly bearish configuration, consistent with a stock rebounding on support without yet reconnecting with its underlying trend.
Over a longer horizon, the MA200 at 57.21€ remains more than 12% below the current price, illustrating the magnitude of the annual rally: +41.1% over one year, despite a decline of 1.84% over the past month. The movement is part of an SBF 120 up 0.82%, driven by Imerys, Vicat and Schneider Electric.
A rebound fueled by the half-yearly publication of July 23
Today's movement extends the positive reading of the half-yearly results published on July 23. EBIT surged 22.8% to 106.2 million euros over the first six months of the financial year, driven by the aerospace division, while revenue increased 5.7% to 942.9 million euros. Current operating margin gained 1.6 points to 11.3%, reflecting marked operational leverage.
This underlying momentum supports the value, which nonetheless remains at a distance from its all-time high of 71.70€ reached in early July. The 71.70€ resistance level will remain the next technical milestone to monitor should the stock confirm its rebound beyond its short-term moving averages.
