Lower in the CAC 40, Renault shares slip by nearly 2%
The diamond-shaped automaker is losing ground in a CAC 40 that is also trending downward. The alliance announced with EDF this Thursday on electric vehicles is not enough to halt the decline, as the stock remains below all of its moving averages.
A decline of 1.87% that places Renault at the bottom of the CAC 40 table
The Renault share is trading at 26.26 € during the session, down 1.87% compared to the previous day (26.76 €), while the CAC 40 is down 0.8%. The stock is evolving in the lower part of the Paris index, alongside several industrial stocks in decline. It remains below its moving averages: the 20-day MA at 27.11 € is approximately 3.1% above the current price, the 200-day MA at 29.23 € more than 10% above. Over one month, the decline reaches 10.07%, and the stock loses 27.38% over one year.
The RSI at 48 remains neutral. The support level at 25.09 € is situated approximately 4.5% below the current price. Details of a collaboration with EDF were announced this Thursday: a unique offering combining electric vehicle, charging station and V2G charging management, with the objective of reducing the cost of use of electric vehicles for French households. The price does not react to the announcement.
