The world's number one luxury group is recovering early in the afternoon, while the CAC 40 remains close to breakeven. The move follows several very weak weeks, during which the stock had touched a floor not seen in six years.
A rebound that brings the stock back above its 20-day moving average but below its 50-day moving average
The stock gains 1.83% to €400.85 and takes the lead in the CAC 40, which falls 0.06% at the same time. This upturn extends a positive week (+4%) and a month up 5.9%, which partly offsets, without compensating, the 15.6% loss over three months.
The price is now above its 20-day moving average, at €388.15 (a gap of 3.27%), but it remains below its 50-day moving average, at €403.78, i.e. 0.7% higher.
The €379.50 support, tested several times in October, is receding: the €401.95 resistance is less than 0.3% from the price. The 200-day moving average, at €468.60, remains well above, with the stock down 34.5% over one year.
