Métropole TV ranks at the bottom of the SBF 120 and falls 4% after its Q3 results
The broadcasting group falls sharply in a Paris market dragged down by the global correction in technology stocks. The decline comes a few days after the publication of a third-quarter performance showing growth, and as the stock had just regained ground on its moving averages.
A 4% decline that interrupts the rebound seen over the week
The Métropole TV share falls 4.12% to €11.18 intraday, among the laggards of the SBF 120, an index that is itself down 1.66%.
Wall Street suffered its sharpest correction since April 2025 on Thursday, with the Nasdaq down 5.52%, and the decline spread on Friday to Asian markets and then to European exchanges. This drop erases part of the rebound of recent days: the stock was still up 10.69% over the week, and today's move brings it back toward its resistance at €11.66, which the price had approached at the start of the week.
The price remains above its 20-day moving average (+8.23%) and its 50-day moving average (+2.57%), but it falls below its 200-day moving average (-4.12%), at €11.66. The RSI at 61 is in neutral territory, which places the move of the day within the framework of a session pullback rather than a trend reversal.
Third-quarter growth and a price target lowered to €11
On November 3, the M6 Group published a revenue of €294.5 million for the third quarter, up 9.4%, with EBITA rising 4.2% to €39 million. Revenue is growing faster than earnings, so the EBITA margin falls to 13.3%. Over nine months, revenue growth reaches 4%, at €938.2 million.
On the analyst side, Barclays lowered its price target on November 4 from €11.50 to €11.00. The €11.66 level, the stock's recent high, remains the technical level to watch.
