A 6.2% Decline That Breaks Support at €31.14 in a Tense Market
Nanobiotix is down 6.2% in trading and quoted at €29.36, after breaking below its support level at €31.14 without recovering. This breach marks a further technical deterioration for an already weakened stock: the biotech ranks among the strongest declines on the SBF 120, with the index itself down 0.92%. Volatility remains elevated (24.78% over one month), and the VIX surges 14.2% in trading, reflecting increased nervousness across markets.
Over the week, the stock has already lost nearly 12.4%, extending a difficult month with a monthly decline of 11.5%. The price is trading well below the 20-day moving average (€34.61, a gap of 15.2%) and the 50-day moving average (€34.23, a gap of 14.2%), both of which now act as distant resistance levels. The RSI at 41 remains neutral, showing no clear oversold signal despite the extent of today's decline, suggesting that selling pressure has not yet been exhausted based on current configuration.
Phase 1 Data on NBTXR3 in Lung Cancer Presented at IASLC 2026
On Monday, September 14th, Nanobiotix disclosed complete results from a phase 1 study evaluating JNJ-1900 (NBTXR3) in patients with unresectable and recurrent non-small cell lung cancer. The study, sponsored by MD Anderson Cancer Center, involved a particularly challenging patient population: candidates for reirradiation whose tumors had already shown resistance to an initial course of radiotherapy. According to data presented at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul, the one-year locoregional control rate reached 79%.
These results are part of the overall clinical development of NBTXR3, on which the company is collaborating with Janssen (Johnson & Johnson). Over one year, despite the recent correction, the stock is still up 250.8%, reflecting the spectacular revaluation that has occurred since the Janssen agreement. The next identified resistance level is at €38.60, representing a gap of more than 30% from the current price.
