One of the strongest CAC 40 gains: Unibail-Rodamco-WE shares gain 1.5%
The shopping center real estate company is regaining ground in a moderately bullish CAC 40. The rebound comes after several weeks of decline, amid tensions over French debt where the budget debate on the 2027 Budget Bill fuels market uncertainty.
A rebound that leaves the stock below its three moving averages
The stock is trading at €88.22 and rising 1.45% during the session, while the CAC 40 is up 0.27%. This increase makes it one of the strongest in the index. It does not erase the 5.04% decline over one month, nor the nearly 14% decline over three months.
The price remains below its three moving averages: 2.81% below the 20-day MA at €90.77, 8.63% below the 50-day MA at €96.55, and 10.42% below the 200-day MA at €98.48. The RSI at 33 is close to the oversold zone, following a test of the support level at €85.98 in early October, which the stock had briefly broken before recovering. In a context of tensions over French debt, the 10-year OAT is at 4.86% according to the Banque de France's reading of October 12, and the debate on the 2027 budget resumes this Tuesday in session at the National Assembly.

Goldman Sachs lowered its target on Monday, October 12 from €135 to €124, while maintaining a buy rating. The target remains approximately 40% above the current price. The analyst opinions on the stock are in a context where the real estate company confirmed, in its first-half results published on July 30, its caution on the macroeconomic environment.
At this stage, the stock is trading at 9.5 times the expected earnings for the current fiscal year according to the consensus of surveyed analysts. The support level at €85.98 remains the level to watch on the downside, with resistance at €97.44 on the upside.
This guidance assumes no major additional deterioration of the macro-economic and geopolitical environment.
