OPmobility share falls 2% and breaks below its 9.40€ support level
The Lyon-based automotive supplier loses ground on Monday, after a rebound that was short-lived. The stock is moving in a sharply declining Paris market, as its quarterly results approach.
A stock nearing its support level after a sharp decline over three months
The OPmobility share is down 1.95% to 9.55€ during the session, while the SBF 120 is retreating 1.3%. It ranks in the lower half of the index, far from rising values such as Rubis. The decline amplifies a heavy downward trend: -19.07% in one month and -27.21% over three months. The price is now very close to the 9.40€ support level, representing a margin of approximately 1.6%.
The RSI at 31.73 is approaching the oversold zone. The stock is meanwhile trading 33.54% below its 200-day moving average and 14.35% below its 20-day moving average, which reflects the extent of the slide since the beginning of autumn. Recent news items recall the context: the announcement on October 7 of a reorganization project in Europe involving approximately 770 positions, accompanied by an adjustment of 2026 targets, had caused the stock to plunge more than 19% in a single session.
Third quarter on the agenda October 21, with a P/E ratio of 7.3
OPmobility will publish its third quarter 2026 revenue on October 21. This event comes just days after a very turbulent start to the month, marked by a series of downward target price revisions by several research firms, including Citi on October 12. Based on expected earnings per share according to analyst consensus, the stock is trading at approximately 7.3 times current fiscal year earnings and 5.5 times those of the following fiscal year.
The Paris market for its part remains under pressure, with the CAC 40 down 1.33% on Monday, in a context where the yield on the 10-year OAT, at 4.79% according to the latest reading of October 16, remains close to its recent highs. The October 21 publication will be the next benchmark for the stock, whose 9.40€ support is the nearest level.
