Opmobility share falls back to its 11.87 € support level, below its moving averages
The Lyon-based automotive supplier is surrendering the entire rebound signed the previous day and finds itself under renewed pressure in a Paris market that is itself in decline. The technical configuration remains fragile, with a security that was already trading far from its reference moving averages before this new downward sequence.
A decline that erases Thursday's rebound and reinforces the isolation below moving averages
Opmobility fell 2.89% during the session to 12.08 €, after gaining 2% in the previous session. This reversal places the share among the strongest declines of the SBF 120, which itself retreated 0.77% at mid-day. The price is below the 20-day moving average at 12.39 € (deviation of -2.50%) and below the 50-day moving average at 12.69 € (deviation of -4.81%), while the 200-day moving average at 14.83 € remains very distant, at more than 18% above the current price.
This position below all three moving averages illustrates a degraded underlying trend that has persisted for several months. The RSI at 49 remains neutral, showing no oversold signal, which indicates that selling pressure has not yet reached a level of technical exhaustion. The support level at 11.87 €, already approached during a downward sequence in early September, now represents the next significant technical reference point in case of continued decline.
A charged macroeconomic context and a valuation reflecting the extent of accumulated discount
The session takes place in a turbulent macroeconomic environment: the Bank of Japan raised its policy rate to 1.25% on Thursday, its highest level since 1995, in the wake of the Fed, which itself tightened its policy on Wednesday. This coordinated rise in real rates weighs on risk assets and particularly on cyclical industrial stocks. Brent crude, which is down 2.15% to $102.57 per barrel this Friday, adds uncertainty regarding costs in the automotive supply chain, a sector to which Opmobility is exposed.
Over one year, the share shows a decline of 10.12%, and 18.71% over three months. In this context of accumulated discount, the consensus of analysts tracked values the share on the basis of approximately 7.5 times expected earnings for the current fiscal year, and 6.7 times those of the following fiscal year, with earnings per share growth anticipated at 12.7% from one fiscal year to the next. The support level at 11.87 € remains the level to monitor as a priority to assess the share's performance in the short term.
