Option: CloudGate Gateway Revenues Double in Five Months in 2026
Option announced on Friday a significant acceleration in its core business. Revenues generated by CloudGate gateways have doubled in the first five months of 2026 compared to the same period last year, thanks to the existing product range.
Doubling of CloudGate Revenues and Launch of New Platform
Option reports a marked progress in its IoT gateway activities. In the first five months of 2026, the revenue from CloudGate gateways doubled year-over-year, a growth based solely on the sales of the current range. The new CloudGate NXS family, featuring enhanced performance and security improvements, will be introduced in the second half of 2026, during a marketing event scheduled for June 11 and 12. The company notes that this event is drawing significant interest from existing customers and new prospects. This new platform includes 5G connectivity and will be manufactured in the United States.
Initial Order of 10,000 Units in the United States and Expansion Strategy
In the United States, Option is finalizing an initial order of 10,000 units for the new CloudGate NXS platform, representing a revenue of approximately $5 million. GetWireless, a distribution partner of the group, is considering a significant expansion of this agreement and counts among its major clients Verizon Wireless, one of the main American telecom operators and an existing customer of the traditional CloudGate gateways. Option plans to increase its commercial investment given the potential of the new platform. The group aims to confirm its forecast of doubling the overall revenue through the updated CloudGate offering.
Shareholder Support and Cost Reduction
Key shareholders of the group have confirmed their commitment to finance growth and the associated working capital needs. Option continues to explore growth projects in energy management systems and defense, where the new CloudGate NXS platform will serve as a central hub for data access and management. The group is also committed to continuing the reduction of administrative costs, which are still considered too high.
