Over 4% in one week: SCOR SE share accelerates following Mediobanca's rating
The Parisian reinsurer is gaining ground in mid-afternoon trading, in a market barely holding its balance. Two brokerage houses revised their views on the same day, and the stock is rising towards a technical zone it had abandoned in early October.
Mediobanca upgrades to outperform and Barclays raises its target
SCOR SE shares are gaining 1.71% to €33.24, while the SBF 120 is advancing 0.17%. Two analyst ratings were released today. Mediobanca is raising its target from €37 to €38 and upgrading from neutral to outperform, which leaves a potential of around 14% relative to the current price.
Barclays is raising its target from €31.40 to €32.30 with a market weight, a level slightly below today's price. Insurance revenues for the first half of 2026, published on July 30, declined by 5.6%, including 8.6% in the life and health branch. The group highlighted an economic value up 10.5% at constant assumptions, and EGPI growth of 3.2% since the beginning of the year.
A rebound that places the share above its moving averages
Over the week, the share is up 4.2%, which contrasts with an almost flat month at +1.9%. The price is 2.69% above the 20-day MA and comes into contact with the 50-day MA (€33.17), 0.21% away. After falling below €32 in late September, the share is thus returning to a zone it was frequenting before its decline.
The RSI at 51 is neutral, with no overbought or oversold extremes. The resistance at €34.30 is the nearest bound above, the support at €31.38 the nearest below. During the session, SCOR SE posted a performance of +1.71% within the SBF 120.
