Pernod Ricard share retreats despite +11.5% gain over one month
The spirits group loses some ground during the session, in a Paris market oriented upward. This pullback comes after a sharp rebound last month, while the share remains far from its levels a year ago.
The share declines 1.14% but maintains a cushion above its short-term averages
Pernod Ricard share falls 1.14% to €66.20 at midday, while the CAC 40 gains 0.49%. The decline places the share among the strongest losses in the Paris index, far from the leading pack led by EssilorLuxottica. Over one month, the group still shows +11.4%, a rebound that has moved it away from its five-year low touched in late September.
This performance leaves the price 6.8% above its 20-day moving average (€61.97), but 1.5% below its 200-day moving average (€67.19), a level the share has not reclaimed. The RSI at 66 remains below the overbought threshold and resistance at €68.22 remains the next benchmark above. Over one year, the share is still down 26%.
