Quadient: Digital orders grow by more than 20% in Q2
Quadient announced on August 24, 2026 an increase of more than 20% year-on-year, on a constant scope basis, in order intake for its Digital business in the second quarter.
The momentum is driven by demand related to customer communication, financial processes and, in France, by the approaching obligation for electronic invoicing set for September 1, 2026.
Electronic invoicing in France multiplied by more than ten
According to the press release, total order intake for the Digital business increased by more than 20% year-on-year, on a constant scope basis, in the second quarter.
In France, order intake for the electronic invoicing segment was multiplied by more than ten compared to the same period in the previous year. This includes a new white-label contract with a French software technology player, valued at several million euros, as well as a significant number of contracts with large accounts and SMEs.
The quarter's growth was also supported by contract extensions with a North American financial institution and one of the largest healthcare organizations in the United States.
Electronic invoicing obligation stimulates orders before September
The entry into force of the electronic invoicing obligation in France is set for September 1, 2026. According to Quadient, several hundred thousand customers have already registered for electronic invoicing via its platform and have begun exchanging flows.
The group indicates that this reform also promotes the adoption of its financial automation solutions. Demand for electronic invoicing solutions has also been supported across Europe.
These order intakes represent a flow for the period and not an activity level already recognized as revenue.
Automation and artificial intelligence
Geoffrey Godet, Chief Executive Officer of Quadient, indicates that the Digital business continues to accelerate, with organizations investing in automation to adapt to regulatory changes and prepare for the next wave of AI.
The group was recognized in The Forrester Wave: Accounts Payable Invoice Automation Software, Q2 2026 report, and positioned as a Leader in the QKS Group SPARK Matrix 2026 for customer communication management and accounts receivable management solutions.
Quadient is listed on Euronext Paris (QDT) and is part of the CAC Mid & Small and CAC Technology indices.
