An Iconic Aircraft from the 1930s Presented in Flight for the First Time
Renault is showcasing the Renault Caudron Rafale, an iconic aircraft from the 1930s that is part of The Originals Renault - The Collection, at the airshow taking place on May 23 and 24 at the Cerny-La-Ferté-Alais aerodrome in Essonne. This aircraft will be presented in flight, marking a first for this airshow. On the ground, the brand displays four iconic vehicles from its technological heritage: the 40 CV of records (1926), the Nervasport of records (1934), the Riffard Tank (1956), and the Étoile Filante (1956). Three contemporary Renault Rafales complement this selection, embodying the brand's current performance, design, and innovation.
A Commitment to Preserving French Industrial Heritage
This participation fulfills the mission of The Originals Renault - The Collection: to preserve, restore, and transmit the French industrial, technical, and human heritage of the brand. The group thus highlights its historical role in the development of French aviation and its contribution to performance research throughout the 20th century.
