Rexel Share: 10% Erased in One Month, Distributor Gains 2.5% During Session
The electrical equipment distributor is making a clear recovery in a well-oriented Paris market. The rebound comes after a period marked by financial operations, which has left the share below its main medium-term benchmarks.
A Rebound That Leaves Rexel Below Its Three Moving Averages
The Rexel share gains 2.37% to €34.12 in mid-afternoon, while the SBF 120 advances 1.04%. The share nonetheless remains below its three moving averages: the MA20 at €35.66 is 4.3% above the price, the MA50 at €36.20 at 5.8% and the MA200 at €36.08 at 5.4%. The support level at €33.33, which corresponds to the previous close, remains the closest level, and the RSI at 38 reflects a share still under pressure following a 10.1% decline over one month. This recovery session follows a series of financing operations. The acquisition of American GCG for 1.4 billion dollars, announced on September 25, was followed by a capital increase of approximately 500 million euros, whose success was announced on September 29.
