S.E.B. share declines 2% and falls below its MA50 despite +13% over three months
The small household appliance manufacturer is taking the path of decline in mid-session trading, in a Paris market oriented downwards. The stock finds itself at the bottom of its index ranking and falls back below a moving average it had recovered over recent days.
A decline of 2.16% that brings the stock below its MA50 at €57.29
The S.E.B. share falls 2.16% to €56.55 (last closing: €57.80), while the SBF 120 declines by 1.30%. The stock is ranked among the sharpest declines in the index. The decline brings it below its MA50 (€57.29, difference of 1.29%), following a weekly gain of 2.54%. It remains however above its MA20 (€55.87) and well above its MA200 (€51.68).
Today's decline thus erases part of the week's gain without calling into question the underlying momentum: the stock still shows 13.2% gains over three months. This movement is part of a series of choppy sessions since the arrival of the new chief executive officer. The stock had rebounded nearly 2% on October 14, before falling back this Monday. The Paris stock exchange is penalized this morning by weekend violence and tensions over French debt, with a 10-year OAT at 4.79% according to the latest Bank of France reading.
Third quarter expected on October 22, with the stock trading at 9.7 times earnings
The Écully-based group will release its third quarter 2026 revenue on October 22. The announcement comes after a first half marked by sharply improved results: the stock had soared in late April following an operating result up 42% in the first quarter. Based on analyst consensus, the stock trades at approximately 9.7 times current fiscal year earnings and 7.2 times next fiscal year earnings.
On the technical side, support is at €52.70 and resistance is at €59.10, a level the stock has not broken through. The next earnings update is therefore scheduled for October 22.
