Sogeclair Signs Agreement to Divest Its Airbus-Related Engineering Activities to Akkodis
The Toulouse-based group has signed an agreement with Akkodis concerning the sale of its engineering activities dedicated to Airbus. The transaction, whose completion remains subject to regulatory approvals, extends the project announced on May 18, 2026.
Divestiture Agreement Signed with Akkodis
Sogeclair, headquartered in Blagnac, announced on August 5, 2026, after market close, that it has signed an agreement with Akkodis, a digital engineering consulting firm, for the sale of its engineering activities dedicated to Airbus.
This signature follows the announcement of May 18, 2026 regarding the proposed divestiture of these activities. For Akkodis, the transaction is part of a strategy of diversification and strengthening of its portfolio in aeronautics, covering the segments of aerostructures, cabin, and manufacturing engineering.
Airbus Would Remain a Major Client of Sogeclair
For Sogeclair, the divestiture supports the execution of its strategy to develop high-value-added engineering and manufacturing activities across the full product lifecycle, while continuing its diversification toward sectors such as business aviation and defense.
The group indicates that following completion of the transaction, Airbus would remain one of its principal clients, notably through its industrial thermoplastics activities.
Completion Expected in Early Fourth Quarter 2026
Completion of the transaction remains subject to obtaining regulatory approvals. Its closing is expected in early fourth quarter 2026.
This transaction comes after the publication, on July 23, 2026, of a half-year revenue of €78.1 million, down 3.1% on an annual basis.
