Spie Acquires Cyqueo to Strengthen Its Cybersecurity Offerings
Spie, the multi-technical services group, announces the acquisition of Cyqueo in Germany to expand its cybersecurity capabilities.

According to a press release from Spie, the group has acquired Cyqueo, a company specializing in cybersecurity solutions based in Munich. This move allows Spie to enhance its portfolio in the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity, boosting its consulting and security solution integration capabilities for complex IT infrastructures.
Cyqueo's Distinctive Competence
Cyqueo stands out with its extensive partner network and expertise in Zero Trust, cloud security, endpoint protection, and managed security services. The company, known for its high level of certification, currently protects 1.6 million users. On average, Cyqueo boasts about 16 relevant certifications per employee, making it one of the most qualified players in the German market. The provider is also one of the largest partners of Zscaler and Proofpoint in Germany.
Enhancing Spie's Team with Expertise
Founded in 2003, Cyqueo employs 28 people and achieved a turnover of 20 million euros in 2024. This acquisition enriches Spie with a highly skilled team, thereby strengthening its Information & Communication Services division. Rainer Hollang and Marcus Hänsel from Spie Germany Switzerland Austria expressed their satisfaction with this integration, highlighting the complementarity and the addition of Cyqueo's cloud-native expertise to their operations.
