Stellantis Expands Remanufactured Parts to Electric and Hybrid Vehicles
Through its SUSTAINera division dedicated to the circular economy, Stellantis has unveiled an expansion of its remanufactured parts offering, now available for electric and hybrid vehicles. These innovations will be presented at the Automechanika Frankfurt trade show from September 8-12, 2026.
Remanufacturing Opens to Electrified Transmissions and Batteries
SUSTAINera announced on September 3, 2026 the global expansion of its remanufactured parts portfolio beyond traditional engines, extending to electric and hybrid vehicles. The new REMAN range now covers the eDCT automatic transmission for mild hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the electric air conditioning compressor (EDC), previously reserved for combustion engines, as well as expanded coverage of high-voltage batteries (HVB).
This offering is part of SUSTAINera's 4R strategy (Reman, Repair, Reuse, Recycle), in which remanufacturing plays a central role. According to the company, parts are restored to original specifications, with the same performance and warranties as Mopar parts.
Remanufactured NOx Sensor Presented as a World First
SUSTAINera has also announced the global launch of a remanufactured NOx sensor, a device that measures the quantity of nitrogen oxides and oxygen in exhaust gases. The company presents this product as a market first and highlights the role of its partnership with Valeo, following the 2025 launch of a first remanufactured LED headlight.
These innovations will be displayed at SUSTAINera's booth at Automechanika Frankfurt (Hall 9.0, stand F84-E84), as part of Stellantis Parts & Services' presence, alongside a recycled oil co-branded with TotalEnergies sourced 100% from regenerated base stock.
