Stellantis stock takes the lead in the CAC 40 but still loses nearly 14% over a month
The multi-brand automaker posts the strongest gain in the Paris index in mid-morning trading, in a market oriented upward despite tensions over French debt. This renewed activity comes after several turbulent sessions, on a stock that remains well below its levels from a year ago.
A 3.3% rebound that fails to reverse the decline of the past three months
The Stellantis stock gains 3.3% to €4.12 and holds the top position in the CAC 40, which advances 0.75%. It outpaces Capgemini and Société Générale, but today's movement remains modest compared to accumulated losses: the stock still loses 13.9% over one month and 16.5% over three months. The rebound thus moderates this downtrend without reversing it, especially since the price remains below its moving averages.
It is 2.9% below the 20-day MA (€4.24), 9.3% below the 50-day MA (€4.54) and 33.1% below the 200-day MA (€6.15). The RSI at 38 describes a weak stock but out of the oversold zone. The support at €3.85 was approached in late September, when the stock marked a five-year low at €3.93.
A €4.50 target maintained by CIC Market Solutions and a P/E of 7.7
