Engie share posts +2.5% over the week and reaches its 50-day moving average
The energy producer advances in trading, in a well-oriented Paris market. This movement extends a rebound initiated at the beginning of the week, following a prolonged decline that had left the security below most of its moving averages.
A rebound that brings the share to the level of its 50-day moving average
The Engie share gains 1.19% to €23.74, compared to 0.89% for the CAC 40. The security is at its highest level in several days and recovers 2.77% over the week, while it still loses 9.25% over three months. This rise brings it 2.90% above its 20-day moving average (€23.07) and to the level of its 50-day moving average (€23.66, a difference of 0.34%), a threshold that the price has not crossed clearly since the summer decline.
The 200-day moving average, at €26.13, remains 9.15% above the price. The RSI at 56 is neutral, which leaves the session without an overbought signal. In today's data, the group ranks among the strongest gains of the CAC 40, far behind Renault, but ahead of most of the index.
