Titan takes minority stake in Command Alkon to digitalize its concrete operations
The cement producer announced on October 13, 2026, a minority stake acquisition qualified as "strategic" in a software publisher specializing in construction materials, predominantly held by the Francisco Partners fund. The operation is accompanied by a long-term partnership and progressive deployment of the platform across the group's ready-mix concrete and aggregates activities.
A software platform for concrete, aggregates and asphalt
Command Alkon is an independent technology company. It offers software for production management, delivery distribution, logistics, materials and commercial flow management for ready-mix concrete, aggregates and asphalt activities, across several thousand plants worldwide. Its cloud-hosted platform serves as a foundation for process integration, data visibility and the adoption of digital tools and artificial intelligence. Titan states that it selected Command Alkon following an in-depth market review, presenting it as the "most comprehensive end-to-end" platform in the industry. The group intends to progressively expand the use of its solutions across all its operations. The platform is intended to serve as the basis for a unified digital architecture between its ready-mix concrete and aggregates activities, with stated objectives of reducing operational complexity, facilitating data integration and accelerating artificial intelligence deployment. In return, Titan will leverage its footprint in ready-mix concrete and aggregates, particularly in Florida and the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, Southeast Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. The group intends to bring its operational and digital implementation expertise to the development of Command Alkon's future solutions.
Digitalization at the heart of Titan Forward 2029 plan
The group is inscribing this operation within its Titan Forward 2029 strategy, in which digital technology constitutes one of the drivers of a target of €100 million in annual savings from industrial, decarbonation and digitalization initiatives. Titan recalls having launched industrial artificial intelligence projects since 2017: real-time optimization and predictive maintenance tools today cover more than 90% of its cement production sites, each generating according to the group benefits valued in the tens of millions of euros annually. With Command Alkon, this approach is extended to the downstream portion of the value chain. "The acceleration of digitalization is a key pillar of our Forward 2029 strategy," declared Antonis Kyrkos, director of digital and strategy for the group, adding that this investment strengthens Titan's capacity to digitalize its materials activities while contributing to the evolution of cloud solutions and artificial intelligence in the sector. This announcement comes one week after S&P Global Ratings, on October 6, 2026, upgraded Titan's long-term credit rating from "BB+" to "BBB-", with stable outlook, a decision the group had presented as a milestone in the execution of Titan Forward 2029.
