Umalis Group launches Oroni, an AI agent for independent consultants
In a press release published on October 29, 2026, the payroll services specialist listed on Euronext Access Paris presented this step as the opening of "new development perspectives". The offering, centered on "supervised execution artificial intelligence", sits at the intersection of payroll services, digital services and support for independent professionals.
An AI agent governed by quotations, cost ceilings and human validations
Accessible via oroni.fr, the tool allows users to entrust an artificial intelligence agent with a mission formulated in natural language. Its execution is organized around a work plan, a prior quotation, a firm cost ceiling and human validations.
According to the group, this approach aims to make the delegation of digital tasks "more accessible and more predictable", by giving users visibility over the work undertaken and their budget.
The target audience comprises consultants and other independent workers. Oroni is intended to assist them notably in preparing commercial proposals, structuring analyses, drafting documents and organizing their deliverables, in order to free up time for client relationships and billable assignments, with final validation remaining their responsibility.
Envisioned synergies and profitability linked to commercial adoption
Umalis Group identifies several areas of cooperation with its subsidiary. From a commercial standpoint, its network could facilitate the presentation of Oroni to independent professionals, while the tool could enrich the services offered by the group and strengthen their appeal.
From an operational perspective, uses are being considered for document preparation, information processing and certain administrative tasks, under the supervision of teams. These synergies would be deployed progressively, depending on identified needs and observed results.
The group indicates that Oroni could, in the long term, constitute a complementary source of revenue and profitability, while specifying that these perspectives constitute neither a quantified forecast of results nor a commitment regarding a date for achieving profitability.
According to Umalis Group, future profitability will depend on the subsidiary's ability to convert user interest into sustainable revenue, to build customer loyalty and to control its costs. The technical costs associated with each mission will also be decisive in the economic balance of the offering.
