Unibail-Rodamco-WE among the best of the CAC 40: stock rises nearly 2%
The shopping center real estate investment trust is gaining ground in a slightly higher CAC 40, following several weeks of decline. The movement occurs as the Paris market remains under the influence of tension over French debt.
The Unibail-Rodamco-WE share is gaining 1.87% to €90.24 during the session, while the CAC 40 advances 0.38%. The stock is among the strongest gainers in the index, ahead of several securities advancing by a point less. This recovery only erases a small portion of accumulated losses: the REIT is still down 7.1% over one month and 12.52% over three months, and is trading below its three moving averages.
The gap remains significant with the 50-day MA (€98.28), at 8.18% from the price, as well as with the 200-day MA (€98.59), at 8.47%. The RSI at 28 places the stock in oversold territory, a configuration that often accompanies short-term technical rebounds. The support at €87.28 remains the nearest threshold in case of further decline, following the fall below €90 at the beginning of the month.
