Valeo has announced its membership in the Global Impact Coalition's (GIC) automotive plastics circularity project, a platform transitioning towards a net-zero future in chemicals. This membership strengthens the coalition's value chain by incorporating the expertise of the global leader in automotive technologies.
Integration of Recycled Plastics into High-Performance Automotive Components
Valeo will bring its design and component expertise to the GIC project. The group will help define the required specifications for using recycled plastics from end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) in demanding automotive applications and contribute to the design of future systems.

With Valeo's membership, the GIC enhances its ability to move from proof of concept to feasible, industrial-scale solutions. This integration allows the coalition to better define solutions, align industry requirements, and build a credible path towards the commercial deployment of circularity in automotive plastics.
