A former Danone, Sanofi and AXA executive joins the executive committee
The group announced this morning the appointment of Isabelle Quéméneur as Group Chief Digital and Information Officer. She is joining the executive committee and will take up her new position on October 5, 2026.
Isabelle Quéméneur previously held the position of Group Chief Technical Officer at Danone, where she has served since March 2023. Having entered the professional world in 1997, she subsequently held several positions with global scope within major international groups, based in Paris and New York, including Société Générale, AXA and Sanofi.
Aged 53, she is a graduate of ESME-Sudria engineering school and holds an MBA from NEOMA Business School.
Creating customer value and modernizing work methods
Philippe Guillemot, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Vallourec, has set two priorities for the group's digital transformation: "creating value for our customers and contributing to modernizing the way our teams work".
He justified this choice by the track record of the new executive, believing that her understanding of industrial and commercial challenges on global markets provides her with the expertise necessary to "drive the future development of our digital ecosystem and our information technology capabilities".
The executive has placed this appointment within "a rapidly evolving technological landscape, shaped by cybersecurity challenges and the rise of artificial intelligence".
